Medium: Cardboard, Tissue Paper and Playboard

This mural, titled "Panch Tatva (Five Elements of Human)," is an artistic creation on playwood, skillfully incorporating various materials such as playwood, cardboard, copper colours, and tissue paper. It symbolizes the five fundamental elements constituting a human, drawing inspiration from ancient texts like the Vedas and Puranas. At the core of composition stands a figure inspired by these ancient scriptures, encircled by five rings representing the "panch-tatva" -These are agni (fire), vayu(wind), dharti(earth), jal (water) and aakash (space) essential components of human existence. Taking inspiration from Kashmiri artist Gulam Rasool Santosh, who also explored this theme, I used metallic acrylics and golden spray to pay homage to his influence. Rooted in the wisdom of the Vedas and Puranas, the mural's backdrop features prehistoric Warley art figures, underscoring humanity's enduring presence through the ages creating a connection to a golden age.
